Universal Studios Hollywood Season Pass Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- Eligibility: The Universal Studios Hollywood Season Pass Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of Safe 1 Credit Union, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
Membership in Safe 1 Credit Union is NOT required to enter. This Sweepstakes is open to the general public subject to the eligibility requirements above.

All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. - Sponsor: This sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Safe 1 Credit Union, headquartered in Bakersfield, California (“Sponsor”). Safe 1 Credit Union is a federally insured, state-chartered credit union regulated by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
- Prize: One (1) winner will receive two (2) Universal Studios Hollywood Season Passes. Prize is nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Any and all expenses related to the prize, including taxes, transportation, parking, and accommodations, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Safe 1 Credit Union to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Safe 1 Credit Union reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The Prize is subject to Universal Studios Hollywood’s terms, conditions, blackout dates, and restrictions, which are determined solely by Universal Studios Hollywood and may change without notice Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): Varies based on pass tier selected at time of fulfillment. Estimated ARV is $350–$500 for two (2) passes.
- Odds of Winning: One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on or about April 21, 2026. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Mail-in entries will receive the same odds of winning as entries submitted through social media.
The potential winner will be notified via a direct message (DM) on Instagram from the official @Safe1CU account and announced publicly via a post or comment on the official Sweepstakes post. Safe 1 Credit Union’s decision is final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes.
The potential winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification to claim the Prize. If the potential winner does not respond within 48 hours, is found to be ineligible, or declines the Prize, an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries. - Prize Fulfillment: The winner will be required to provide a valid mailing address and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permitted, a Publicity Release within five (5) business days of receipt. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the Prize. Where prohibited by law, the Publicity Release requirement will be waived.
All federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued if required by law. - Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. PT (the “Entry Period”).
- How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Entry Period you must complete ALL of the following steps on Instagram:
Follow the official Safe 1 Credit Union Instagram account (@Safe1CU).
Like the official Sweepstakes post published on the @Safe1CU Instagram account.
Tag one (1) friend in the comments section of the official Sweepstakes post.
Limit: One (1) entry per person. Multiple entries or tags will not increase your chances of winning; only the first qualifying entry will be considered. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.
By entering, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and agree to these Official Rules - Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): Handwrite your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address on a 3” x 5” card and mail it in a #10 envelope to: Safe 1 Credit Union, P.O. Box 2203, Bakersfield, CA 93303. Mail-in entries must be received by the end of the Entry Period. Illegible, incomplete, or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
- Winner Selection and Notification: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via the contact method provided during entry (e.g., email, phone, or social media direct message). If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within five (5) days of notification, another winner may be selected.
- Publicity Release: By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant Safe 1 Credit Union the right to use your name, likeness, voice, and entry for promotional and advertising purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- General Conditions: Safe 1 Credit Union reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion. Safe 1 Credit Union also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules.
- Limitation of Liability: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Safe 1 Credit Union, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize.
- Disputes: The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in the courts located in Kern County, California.
- Privacy: Information collected from entrants will be used only for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and will not be sold to third parties. Safe 1 Credit Union’s Privacy Policy is available at www.safe1.org.
- Winners List: For a copy of these Official Rules or the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Safe 1 Credit Union, Attn: Marketing Dept., P.O. Box 2203, Bakersfield, CA 93303. Winner requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the winner announcement date.
- Instagram Disclaimer: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, each participant agrees to a complete release of Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability related to this Sweepstakes. Any questions or comments regarding the Sweepstakes should be directed to Safe 1 Credit Union, not Instagram.
- Universal Studios Disclaimer: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Universal Studios Hollywood or NBCUniversal Media, LLC. The Universal Studios Hollywood Season Passes are subject to the terms and conditions established solely by Universal Studios Hollywood.
- Governing Law: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Kern County, California.
- Passes are subject to all terms, conditions, and restrictions set by Universal Studios Hollywood. Restrictions may include, but are not limited to, blackout dates, expiration dates, and other limitations. Safe 1 Credit Union is not responsible for any changes to pass terms or park operations.
